Yerka graduated from the local Faculty of Fine Arts at Nicolaus Copernicus University. The greatest source of inspiration is always his childhood souvenirs – that places, remembered feelings, fragrances. Still he could recall earliest memories – the smell of paints, inks, paper, rubbers and brushes.
