Banksy is an England-based graffiti artist, political activist, film director, and painter. His eye-opening street art combines irreverent dark humor with graffiti done in a distinctive stencilling technique. Such artistic works of political and social commentary have been featured on streets, walls, and bridges of cities throughout the world. Most people say graffiti is ugly, disruptive, pointless, irresponsible, and childish. All of those allegations are flushed down the toilet, when it’s done properly.
Banksy is a master of doing it properly. Most have a strong opinion about the use of stencils. Other artists swear that it’s incapable, foolish, naive, and senseless. However, Bansky thinks differently. Stencils are good for two reasons, One – they’re quick ; two – they annoy idiots. Apart from his outside artworks, he goes even farther to express his views by creating physical prop pieces (which you will see below.)
